What Ministry Involves

Bimonthly Meetings
These are essential to the spirit of the Society.  They ensure efficiency and perseverance in our work and binds Vincentians together in a bond of friendship.

Home visits
Home visits are rotated through the members. During the home visits, Vincentians listen to the difficult and heart-breaking struggles of their neighbors and provide financial assistance supplemented with in-kind services, basic need supplies, referrals, and most importantly, prayer.

Currently our meetings are on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 2pm.  SVdP phone number is 512 718 2614.  Our Smithville neighbors in need can call any time and leave a message.  Visits are made usually on Monday and Thursday by a two person team.  (Visits are usually in person in the neighbors' homes but during the pandemic visits have been via phone.  SVdP visits will resume in person when safe.)
